Hand-turned from a single piece of English Patterned Beech this Taper Pen Pot is a considered home for pens, brushes or other everyday desk tools

To produce this unique material fallen Beech trees are left on their sides for between 3-5 years and during this time the patterns are formed by fungi as they break the log down. Different woodlands contain different species each with their own pattern and colour fingerprints. We are lucky enough to know someone with a woodland that produces very rare, world class examples of this natural artwork.

The tapered profile keeps the shape understated, allowing the natural patterns to do the talking.

• Finished with a hardwearing blend of natural plant oils and waxes

• Approx. 11cm tall with a base diameter of 7cm and an internal depth of 8cm

• Unique grain pattern, colour and natural markings
