Something new here! well new for us anyway… Ideal for the bookworm or woodworm in you life ( perhaps you are lucky enough to have both! )

Certain timbers when sawn at specific angles reveal patterns which are not normally evident in regularly sawn timber. This generally happens when the wood is quarter sawn and in the case of the Quilted Maple and Burr English Elm seen here, the results are truly spectacular!

We only have only made 3 of these bookmarks and here they are, a nice stocking filler we think.

Each measures approx. 15cm tall 3.5cm wide and 1.5 -2mm thick. Despite the thinness they are actually very sturdy.
