A true one off sculptural object celebrating this amazing timber. Our simple yet considered River Stone shape is burrfect (see what we did there) for showing off the true beauty of this rare Burr English Elm. This hand turned sculpture is about juxtaposing a quite formality with the chaotic and explosive natural grain patterns which expand outwards from within. It is no accident that it also includes a section of natural bark along the edge. The piece of wood was specially selected and shaped with this end result in mind as we wanted an extra visual element and the contrast it brings within the final form.

Measures 14cm diameter and 5cm tall and weighs 400 grams.

Finished with a blend of natural plant oils and waxes.
