Inkwell Vases in English Burr Elm

Inkwell Vases in English Burr Elm
Both of these hand turned sculptures are about juxtaposing a quite formality with the chaotic and explosive natural grain patterns which expand outwards across the surface.
Our new Inkwell Vase shape is loosely based on 19th century English stoneware ink pots and is our take on a contemporary version of this form. These sculptural pieces are made to be beautiful, stand alone objects in their own right, but can also display dried flowers an architecturally selected twig or two or even pens and brushes.
The simple yet considered shapes are burrfect (see what we did there) for showing off the true beauty of this super rare Burr English Elm and the larger version in particular is a truly unique stunner.
