Hand-turned from a single piece of Australian red mallee burr, this piece shows the intensely swirling, richly coloured figure mallee burr is prized for among turners worldwide.

Its been 10 years since we first released our Signature Pillow . To celebrate, we have made a special collection of 20 pieces based on the original shape.

The Pillow shape was developed to capture and formalise the organic grain patterns of beautiful timbers. As well as being beautiful in their own right, the flowing curves are designed to be a canvas to display the grain itself. This pillow is a sculptural object in its own right and is recommended for dry use.

• Red Mallee, hand-turned from a single solid piece

• Finished with a hardwearing blend of natural plant oils and waxes

• Food safe although recommended for dry use

• Approx. 17cm wide x 3cm tall

• One off piece individually numbered as part of the 10 year anniversary Pillow Plate collection

• Care - Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Re-oil periodically to maintain the finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water and don't put in the dishwasher.
