Hand-turned from Streaky English Brown Oak, this piece showcases one of Britain's rarest and most prized timbers. The darker colouring is entirely natural, caused by a specific fungus that attacks English oak and stains the wood from within. The lid and base were cut from the same board allowing the colours and grain pattern to reflect each other in the final piece.

Our Linea texture takes its inspiration from wheel-thrown pottery and is not made by a special tool or machine. Every line is cut one by one by hand, a technique we originally developed for tableware used in Michelin-starred restaurants.

A considered place to keep small treasures — jewellery, keys or keepsakes — on a shelf or dressing table.

• Hand-turned from Streaky Brown Oak

• Finished with a hardwearing blend of natural plant oils and waxes

• Approx. 16cm diameter x 8cm tall with an interior clearance of 6cm

• Each piece is unique. Grain pattern, colour and natural markings will vary

• Care Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Re-oil periodically to maintain the finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water and don't put in the dishwasher.
