This vase was fully turned in American Walnut before an iorn oxide soloution as brushed on causing a reaction with the natural tannins in the wood and turning it black. Our innovative Linea texture was inspired by wheel thrown pottery and originally developed for tableware used by our Michelin Starred friends. Now our Linea texture is now available for your home too! Linea is not made automatically or by a special tool, each and every line is mindfully cut and shaped one at a time by hand during the creation of the piece. With 80-100 lines in each Linea Taper Vase, that's a lot of mindfulness going into in each one!

This vases also comes with another Bird & Branch innovation, a 110ml glass insert allowing the beauty of wood to accent your fresh cut flowers in water! This piece has the Bird & Branch logo disc inset proudly within its base.
