Hand-turned from a single piece of English oak, this piece shows the warm honey-gold tone and traditional strength English oak has been prized for over centuries of British furniture making. Finished on the outside in our charred Yakisugi style, a traditional Japanese technique that darkens and textures the surface of the wood through use of a blowtorch.

The Sensai shape is turned with a raised, sculptural profile that puts the timber's grain and figure on full display.

As at home on a dining table holding fruit or salad as it is displayed as a standalone object.

• Oak, hand-turned from a single solid piece

• Finished with a hardwearing blend of natural plant oils and waxes

• Food safe

• Approx. 20cm diameter and 7cm tall and 6cm deep

• Care - Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Re-oil periodically to maintain the finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water and don't put in the dishwasher.
