Brown Oak’s rich colour is caused by a specific fungus which attacks English oak trees, releasing acids that stain the wood brown. It it's relatively rare and valued especially for its striking solid brown or streaky appearance, making it highly sought after for decorative use. This particuale piece aslo has a nice area of burr for a little extra character.

Measures approx. 19cm wide x 5cm high x 3cm deep.

Finished with a hard-wearing food-safe blend of natural plant oils and waxes.
