Hand turned on the lathe from a striking piece of Australian Sheoak wood, the colours in this timber are a reflection of the deep red dirt synonymous with the land from which it came.

Based on the classically shaped “Table Vase” we originally produced in 2018, we have called this taller more elegant iteration the Bobbin Vase in reference to the shape of the top. The tall, classical shape of this piece is accentuated buy the unique vertical grain patterns of the Sheoak wood from which it is made.

Designed and made to be beautiful objects in their own right, our Bobbin Vases can also enhance and be enhanced by dried flowers or an artistically selected twig or two.

Vase Height: 24.5 cm tall x 5cm wide with a 12mm diameter core drilled hole approx. 8.5cm deep.

It’s finished with a blend of plant oils and waxes that richly enhance the natural beauty of this exceptional wood.
