Its been 10 years since we first released our Signature Pillow and to celebrate we have made a special collection of 20 pieces based on the original shape. This one is an extra large flat pillow hand-turned from a single piece of English yew. This piece shows the warm orange-red heartwood yew is known for, set against pale sapwood at the edges — the same dense, resilient timber that historically made English yew the wood of choice for longbows.

The Pillow shape was developed to capture and formalise the organic grain patterns of beautiful timbers. As well as being beautiful in their own right, the flowing curves are designed to be a canvas to display the grain itself. This pillow is a sculptural object in its own right and is recommended for dry use.

• Finished with a hardwearing blend of natural plant oils and waxes

• Approx. 25cm wide x 5cm tall

• Recommended for dry / ornamental use

• Care - Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Re-oil periodically to maintain the finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water and don't put in the dishwasher
