Sequentially hand turned from a single striking piece of English Yew wood, the colours and wild grain these sculptures display are all completely natural. Our minimal shapes allow the beautiful and wild grain of this timber to show itself off to the fullest. Yew is always exciting to work with and in this instance natural the colours and grain are particularly striking. Although no doubt the tree this timber came from was younger, the oldest Yew tree in the UK is estimated to be between 2,000 and 3,000 years old, although some believe that could be up to 5,000 years.

Vases are sold together as a preconceived sculptural set.

Cylinder Vase (Taller) : height 13cm tall x 4cm wide, core drilled at a diameter of 3cm to a depth of 7.5cm.

Bottle Vase (Shorter) : height 12cm tall x 4cm wide core drilled at a diameter of 3cm to a depth of 6cm.

Finished with a blend of plant oils and waxes to protect and enrich.
